The three gladiators
- Viper has Dexterous and Strong, which gives +5 Melee Attack, +10 Fatigue and a hidden +10 Initiative. He also almost highrolls Initiative at 109 out of 110. Perfect for a Fencer or Overwhelm build.
- Lion has Iron Lungs, which recovers +3 Fatigue per turn. Ideal for Fatigue intensive builds such as Duelist or 2H Flank Hammer.
- Bear has Sure Footing and Swift, which gives +5 Melee Defense and +5 Ranged Defense. He also highrolls his primary stats on his first level. Perfect for a Tank or frontline Banner build.

- One port city has both a Training Hall and a Temple, so you can level up and heal your gladiators easily.
- An almost circular road system. Start at the Arena port city, do nearly a full circle around the map visiting 15 settlements with only minor detours, and finish at a port city close to the arena.
